I have made progress in some areas and not others. My psychological well being has improved, and I have a noticeably better outlook since I've assesed myself objectively and set goals. Physically, I haven't changed. I'm still very active, but my nutrition is still haphazard. This is something I feel will improve over time as I gain more control over my time management and impulses. Spiritually, I have begun to reach out more through prayer and a general non verbal spiritual communication with God. I guess you could call this "spirit", and I think by assessing what was going on in my life, I was able to find my spirit again.
I have made progress toward my goals, but the progress has been more mental than physical. I have a better sense of myself, my strengths, my weaknesses, and what I need to do to accomplish my goals.
I have implemented a few techniques, such as prayer and visualization, on a moe regular basis. My diet is still irregular, and I haven't been able to implenet meditation at this point. I look forward to a time in the near future when my schedule becomes more regular and I'm able to set aside time to meditate.
The most difficult part of this course for me has been identifying and admitting to my weaknesses. I have definitely improved my well-being, if only by being more honest with myself. Some of the things I want to change may happen overnight, and othrs may be a life-long journey. Either way, I know I'm a better person for having assesed my own strengths and weaknesses in an objective manner.
